Adrian (Ade) has climbed, trekked and travelled on all seven continents. Ade simply enjoys being in the mountains and sharing this experience with his groups. In particular he likes visiting the Himalaya, Karakorum and Hindu Kush and has led many treks and expeditions to Nepal and Pakistan (see his extensive list of trips below).
Ade is highly experienced and skilled outdoorsman and works as an expedition leader, mountain guide, trekking guide, sea kayaking guide, mountain biking guide, tour guide and photographer.
Ade was born and grew up in Wales but now calls Australia home currently living in Sydney where he enjoys canyoning, sea kayaking and the Sydney lifestyle. He is keen photographer and enjoy giving slide shows and talks, take a look at his website for a selection of his photos
In 2007 Ade successfully led a charity trek for The Mountain Company to Everest Base Camp "Everest Rocks" promoted by Love Hope Strength Foundation in US. This was a high profile event where Welsh and US musicians not only trekked to Everest Base Camp but also put on a concert on Kala Pattar (highest in the world!) and Durbar Square.
In Nepal, Ade has led eleven expeditions to Mera Peak (with nine summits); our expeditions to Mera Peak crossing Amphu Laptsa pass and Island Peak; five expeditions to Island Peak; once to Ramdung and Parchamo; two expeditions to Khumbu Three Peaks; once to Chula East and Far East; once to Tent Peak (Thurpa Chuli) and once to Naya Kanga.
In Nepal, Ade has led multiple treks to Everest Base Camp with various combinations including Cho La, Renjo La and Kongma La passes; Dhaulagiri Circuit (French and Dhampus Passes; Kanchenjunga Circuit; Naa Phu Valleys; Upper Dolpo to Jomsom; Annapurnna Circuit (various combination (including Annapurna sanctuary); Upper Mustang; Rowaling; Naar - Mustang via Teri La; Makalu Base Camp; Rupina La & Tsum Valley and Manaslu Circuit
In Pakistan, Ade has led four treks to K2 & Gondogoro La; two treks to Snow Lake and Hispar La; Spantik Peak and Workman’s Peak.
