Welcome to The Mountain Company's website! We are an adventure travel company that specializes in organising small group treks and expeditions to the Himalaya, Karakoram and Kilimanjaro.

Our journeys range from gentle treks with cultural visits, while staying in luxury lodges or hotels, to expeditions exploring remote areas of the Himalayas.

The Mountain Company was founded by Roland Hunter who has climbed extensively in the Himalayas including to the summits of Mt. Everest and Mt Makalu. Click on Roland's face below to have a live chat about your holiday!

We operate our treks to minimise their environmental and ethical impact, and have a commitment to organise responsible and sustainable travel.

The Mountain Company is based in the UK although we usually find that our trekking groups are international with people coming from different countries of the world. Everyone is welcome.

We look forward to hearing from you in the near future!
