The Indian Himalayas stretch for over 800 miles across the north of India between Nepal and Pakistan. There are only a relatively small number of trekkers visiting India every year, and we offer a range of treks in India to areas with very different characteristics: Ladakh, Sikkim and the Garwhal Himalayas.

India is one of the most fascinating countries which brings people back time and again to see the friendly people, history and religions, dramatic landscapes and of course the delicious food!

The trekking season is similar to Nepal, starting in late September and continuing to May with Spring and Autumn generally being the most popular times to visit. The one exception to this is Ladakh which is ideal for trekking in the summer, being in the far north west of India it is out of the reach of the monsoon.
