Online quotation for trekking insurance Information on booking international flights This would be a perfect trip for someone seeking a first taste of Pakistan- we organise two treks in different areas of northern Pakistan, a remote and fascinating part of the world. The Nanga Parbat trek and Hunza valley trek combines two moderate treks within 17 days- the first treks visits the kingdom of Hunza and reaches a high point above the huge Batura glacier with views of the Himalayan giants of Shispar (7,620m), Distaghil Sar (7,880m) and Rakaposhi (7,790m). Driving back down the Karakoram Highway to Chilas we then get a transfer by minibus and jeep to the village of Tato. Here we begin the walk in to Fairy Meadows, a campsite renowned for its superb setting among pine forests with views of Nanga Parbat. There is an opportunity to make the long trek to Nanga Parbat base camp and the German climbers’ memorial if you are feeling fit and have the energy for a longer walk!
