Trek Itinerary

  • Day 1Arrive at Kilimanjaro International airport, transfer to hotel 
  • Day 2Drive to Machame village, trek to Machame Camp (3,100m) 
  • Day 3Trek to Shira Camp (3,840m) 
  • Day 4Trek to Barranco Camp (3,950m) 
  • Day 5Pass the Baranco Wall to the Karanga valley (4,100m) 
  • Day 6Karanga valley to the Barafu hut (4,600m) 
  • Day 7Trek to summit of Kilimanjaro (5,745m), descend to Mweka Camp 
  • Day 8Descend to the Mweka Park gate, drive back to the hotel. Evening transfer to airport for your flight home.
