I could just say ’what a brilliant trip’, but that is not enough. The trip exceeded my expectations, it pushed my physically, but not too far. Jill was a great leader, fun to be with, but firm and decisive when needed. The local team were excellent, the food the same (does Saila cater for UK functions?) and Jiri is a very good guide.

Nepal

Nepal Himalaya has eight of the world’s highest mountains including Mount Everest.

Nepal is a small mountainous country wedged between the arid Tibetan plateau and the hot fertile plains of India. Nepal is culturally diverse with a variety of ethnic groups and for many trekkers it is the warmth, hospitality and sense of humour of the Nepalese people that draw them back for repeat visits to this wonderful country.

The Great Himalaya Trail ("GHT") is a trekking route that traverses Nepal from end to end, this trails starts near Kanchenjunga in the East and continues to Humla on the Tibetan border in the West. We organise treks along most sections of The Great Himlaya Trail as well as the Classic treks in Nepal.
