In May, The Mountain Company organised a recce trek through Upper Dolpo to Jomsom, this was a superb walk through a region often described as the last enclave of pure Tibetan culture.
This trail is rarely attempted by western trekking groups, we followed a longer version of section 7 of The Great Himalaya Trail ("GHT"). One very well travelled member of our group described our Upper Dolpo to Jomsom trek as "arguably one of the best treks in Nepal".
