Chandra Rai
Chandra is one of our regular trek leaders in Nepal and has led groups for us since 2005 including camping treks such as Dhaulagiri Circuit, Kanchenjunga Circuit and Upper Dolpo.
Chandra has also helped lead our camping groups on Dhaulagiri Circuit and Upper Mustang and over the years he has developed good knowledge and experience of the remote Upper Dolpo region in mid-West Nepal. He has led lodge based groups around Annapurna Circuit, to Ganesh Himal and throughout the Everest region.
Chandra is a qualified trekking guide and has passed his Advanced Wilderness first aid training and leadership course. Chandra also enjoys mountain biking and has led several bike tours around Nepal.
Chandar is from Dhankuta town in the east of Nepal and now lives in Kathmandu. He is married with a son and daughter.
