Trips and treks guaranteed to run

I wanted to write and thank you for a truly spectacular trip on the Snowman Trek. I can honestly say this trek was one of the best organised, most efficient, well thought out treks that I have been on

Photography trek to Ama Dablam Base Camp

Our photography trek to Ama Dablam Base Camp in December 2018 will be led by renowned photographer, Sujoy Das. Throughout the trek Sujoy will guide you on how to photograph out of the box and to see the Everest region through different eyes avoiding those stereo type images which every Everest trekker takes home. Sujoy will provide guidance about the best locations for photography on a day to day basis along with the best time of the day.

Our Ama Dablam Base Camp itinerary has been designed for acclimatisation and to allow time for you to take photos. Sujoy will always be there with you to help solve your problems in the field and learn new things about photography. Several sessions will help you understand the location better and improve your photography skills with special emphasis on photography in the mountains. There will also be night photography session of the mountains, stars, moon and the Milky Way.

In Kathmandu before the start of the trek Sujoy will give an introductory one hour slide show on the Everest Region of Nepal to familiarize the group with the terrain, locations, light and conditions.

The Everest region is the most famous area in Nepal and, perhaps the entire Himalaya, as it is the centre for many major mountaineering expeditions. Here Himalayan giants from Everest to Ama Dablam tower above the Khumbu Valley, making this valley one of the world’s most magical and inspiring places to visit and trek.
