Price includes:

  • Internal flight to/from Pokhara and Kathmandu
  • All transfers including airport collections
  • One day sightseeing in Kathmandu with Nepalese cultural guide and private vehicle
  • Twin share room at Hotel Shangri La in Kathmandu, Temple Tree in Pokhara and five nights at Ker & Downey lodges while on trek
  • Breakfast only at hotels, all meals and Happy Hour drinks included while on trek
  • All trekking arrangements including permits and fees, Sherpa guide and porter(s). Weight allowance of 10kg for your main bag to be carried by porter during the trek.
  • We provide the following kit for your use on the trek: duffel (kit) bag, day pack, water bottles, hat and scarf, walking stick and poncho. There are also down jackets, wool gloves, warm hats and slippers at the lodges

Trip Grade Gentle

Suitability: most people in good health who take regular exercise.

1) Walking times: average 4 to 6 hours walking per day for up to 8 days often including one or two rest days.

2) Altitude: up to 4,000m.

3) Terrain: for most of time following well-travelled trails through villages, there will be some daily ascent and descent.

4) Remoteness: usually not too remote and often there is a reasonable level of infrastructure such as lodge accommodation and cell/ mobile phone reception.

  • Day 2Sightseeing in Kathmandu. Overnight Hotel Shangri La. 
  • Day 3Fly to Pokhara (820m) and take boat trip across Phewa Lake for the walk to World Peace Stupa. Overnight at Temple Tree. 
  • Day 4Drive to Lumle (1,494m)- 1 hour driving and trek to K&D Sanctuary Lodge in Birethanti (1,100m). 
  • Day 5Trek to K&D Himalaya Lodge in Ghandruk. 
  • Day 6Day walk from K&D Himalaya Lodge. 
  • Day 7Trek to K&D Bee Lodge in Lhandruk.
